About John Hopkins
John Hopkins in his studio
John Hopkins is an artist and architect living in Goult, France. John holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Yale University, where he focused on printmaking, and a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Throughout his career, he has sought to combine his love of these two compatible pursuits.
John has produced several series of monotypes and drypoint etchings including: San Francisco Architectural Landmarks, the Hidden Urban Spaces of Venice, Boston Industrial Buildings and the “Carrieres” of Provence. He has had solo exhibitions of his work in San Francisco, Boston, Venice and Paris.
His current solo exhibition will at the Gurari Collections gallery in Boston, MA (June 7th - July 14th 2019) This show focuses on John’s continuing interest in Venice, Italy.
